Artists Katta
1) Name of Artist : Shweta Khemka
About Me and how long I have been in it : I am a Mandala artist passionate about creating intricate designs that promote mindfulness and peace. After having a successful corporate career as a Business Analyst, that spanned about 10 years, I decided to explore my passion for art, which has been a part of my life since childhood. For the past four years, I’ve been creating mandalas, which have helped me overcome negativity and stress, while also bringing me joy and peace.
I’ve been conducting Mandala art workshops for all age groups and am skilled in various mediums such as watercolour, acrylics, and gouache, which I combine to craft unique mandalas and also other Mixed media Art.
About the Art form: Mandala art is a geometric design that represents the universe, often used for meditation and spiritual practices. Its intricate patterns encourage mindfulness and creativity, offering a sense of harmony and balance. Hanging mandala paintings at home enhances the ambiance, promoting a sense of peace and tranquillity. They can serve as focal points for meditation, helping to reduce stress and improve focus. Additionally, their vibrant patterns can inspire creativity and uplift the overall aesthetic of any space
2) Name of Artist : Dhvani
About Me and how long I have been in it : I’m Dhvani, an artist by passion. Alongside my art, I work professionally as a mutual fund investment consultant and a phonics tutor for pre-primary children. My artistic journey truly took off after that Navratri celebration, where the positive response to my work led me to pursue Lippan and Dot Mandala art professionally. Mandala art, with its vibrant colors and intricate geometric patterns, represents the cosmos and is often used for spiritual purposes and Vastu-based healing. By embracing this beautiful art form, which is deeply rooted in Indian culture, I aim to share its beauty with the world.
